Day 1: Travel to Same & The Pare Mountains
Your Uisso Adventures guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi in the afternoon. We begin a scenic 3–4 hour drive south, winding between the Kilimanjaro and Pare mountain ranges. This drive offers a glimpse into the heart of rural Tanzania. Upon arrival in the town of Same—the gateway to Mkomazi—you will check into Johnson Villas. Relax in your cozy room and enjoy a fresh Tanzanian dinner as your guide briefs you on the wildlife you’ll encounter tomorrow.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mkomazi National Park
After an early breakfast, we take a short 30-minute drive to the park gate. We spend the entire day exploring Mkomazi’s vast acacia woodlands and open plains. We will visit the Rhino Sanctuary and search for the park’s predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch at a scenic site overlooking the plains, we continue our exploration to the northern reaches of the park. In the evening, we begin our return journey to Moshi.
