Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

  • Depart Arusha and drive through the scenic Masai Steppe (optional supermarket stop for personal items).

  • Arrive at Tarangire National Park, famous for large elephant herds and towering baobab trees.

  • Enjoy your first game drive, then lunch at a designated picnic site.

  • Afternoon game drive followed by overnight at a lodge or hotel.

  • Drive along the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara.

  • Explore lush forests inhabited by blue monkeys, baboons, bush bucks, and elephants.

  • Visit Hippo pools and observe aquatic birds.

  • Picnic lunch in the park, then transfer to lodge in Karatu for overnight.

  • Scenic drive across the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti.

  • Stop at Naabi Hill Gate for registration and picnic lunch.

  • Afternoon game drive upon arrival, then check in to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Sunrise game drive for early sightings of nocturnal and diurnal animals.

  • Full-day game drives exploring vast savannahs and spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, and migratory birds.

  • Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

  • Early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Descend into the Crater for a game drive and picnic lunch.
