Detailed Itinerary

The Drive to the Oasis

Your Uisso Adventures driver will collect you from your hotel for a scenic journey toward the Siwa Oasis. As we leave the main roads behind, the landscape transforms into rugged, semi-arid plains where you may spot local Maasai herders tending to their livestock. The drive itself offers a glimpse into the vastness of the Kilimanjaro foothills before the lush, green canopy of the sanctuary appears on the horizon like a desert mirage.

Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you will be introduced to the expert caretakers who manage the resident animals. The experience is centered on supervised interaction; you will have the opportunity to walk among and feed the giraffes, elands, and ostriches. The fun part is taking photos with the rescued animals.

After your wildlife interaction, you can spend time enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the sanctuary grounds, which offer incredible views of the surrounding mountains. There is a restaurant at Serval Wildlife where you can enjoy a meal and drinks of your own choice.  Once the session concludes, we begin the return drive to Arusha or Moshi, leaving you with an appreciation for the individual personalities of Africa’s iconic species.
