Day by Day Itinerary

The trek begins through dense rainforest, filled with colobus monkeys and tropical flora, leading to Mandara Hut. Overnight stay in comfortable mountain huts.

As you climb above the treeline, moorland vegetation surrounds you. Horombo Hut offers panoramic views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.

Spend an extra day at Horombo Hut to acclimatise. Explore nearby trails or relax while enjoying views of the vast plains below.

Ascend through the alpine desert, passing the “Last Water Point”. Kibo Hut sits at the base of the summit climb — rest and prepare for the next day's challenge.

Summit night! Begin your ascent around midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak by sunrise. After celebration and photos, descend to Horombo for rest.

Descend through the rainforest to Marangu Gate where your certificate awaits. A day for joy and reflection on your incredible journey.
