Detailed Itinerary

A scenic 1-hour drive through coffee and banana plantations to Marangu Gate. After permits, enter the park and follow a well-maintained trail through rainforest, spotting rare orchids and birdlife. Reach Mandara Huts (2,700m) for a picnic lunch, then a short 15-minute walk to Maundi Crater for views of Kibo Peak and the Kenyan border. Trek back down through the forest to Marangu Gate and transfer to your hotel.
