Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle, travelling through the spectacular landscapes of northern Tanzania towards Lake Natron. Enjoy scenic views of traditional Maasai settlements, open plains, volcanic terrain, and the dramatic Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch before heading out for a guided walk to the beautiful Ngare Sero Waterfalls. Explore the narrow rocky gorge, admire the flowing freshwater, and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings with a local guide.
In the late afternoon, visit a designated viewpoint around Lake Natron to admire its remarkable mineral-rich waters and the imposing silhouette of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred Mountain of God.
Wake up early for a guided visit to Lake Natron, when the morning light creates beautiful opportunities for wildlife observation and photography. Look for lesser flamingos feeding in the shallow waters, with the dramatic volcanic landscape forming an unforgettable backdrop. Flamingo numbers vary with water levels and seasonal conditions, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
